Hot Spot

A great hot pot joint! Hot Spot has has a wide variety of foods, sauces, and broths, all of which are great quality. The drinks are especially good, and they even have BOGO and B3G1 deals! Also, the staff are really exceptional and hospitable. A must-try experience in NoVa!

The worst part was management. The manager showed no concern, took no accountability, and still expected us to tip after all of this. There was no apology, no effort to correct the situation just entitlement. I am a regular customer and this experience was terrible. We were seated at a dirty table and repeatedly given dirty utensils, even after clearly asking for clean ones more than once. Clean silverware is a basic necessity especially when serving soup. The drinks were poorly made, and we were not informed that required garnishes were unavailable until after the drinks arrived. Had we been told, we would have ordered something else. We had such an incredible experience at Hot Spot! As first-timers to the hot pot style of dining, we were a little unsure of where to start, but our server was absolutely amazing, guiding us through the process with patience and enthusiasm. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and cozy, perfect for a chilly day. The meats were incredibly fresh, and the broths were packed with rich, savory flavors. This place is my go to for hot pot. The wait staff are friendly and give excellent service! It’s fun to have the fresh food they bring to you as you order to put in your very own pot . The sauce bar is one of the best around with all the ingredients for your own mix. If not, you can have the already made and yummy sesame seed or spicy house sauce. I bring my friends to enjoy this great place when we want hot pot! Great place with great food to enjoy with great friends!

The food completely satisfied my craving for hotpot. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. Our server David was amazing and had a great personality, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely come here again.
