Hot N Juicy Crawfish

Today is Valentine's Day, and I ordered takeout from Hot N Juicy Crawfish. I live about 60 minutes from DC, so this was a special meal ! was really looking forward to. Once I got home and opened the food, the seafood was completely mushy and inedible. You couldn't even eat it. This was especially disappointing since I ordered the "Get Your Feet Wet" meal, which is not cheap. We immediately called the store and spoke with AJ, the manager, to explain the situation. I was told I would have to bring the food back in person to receive a refund. I explained that I do not live in the area and asked if I could send photos of the food instead. Hot N Juicy Crawfish – Washington, DC This was our second time coming here in DC, and once again, everything was absolutely delicious! We’ve been craving a good seafood boil for so long (there’s really nothing like this in Denmark), so it felt amazing to be back. We tried all the spice levels this time — and I have to say, the extra extra spicy is my favorite! It has that perfect kick that keeps you wanting more without overpowering the flavor. The seasoning is super rich and flavorful, and the seafood was so fresh. We got the crawfish, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, and potatoes — everything soaked up that spicy sauce perfectly. Beware of it!!! The food here are not fresh at all, there's some seafoods with abnormal color on it ,i guess it cant tell anything about freshness. Some of the Shrimp are soft and worst than frozen, i think it mind be double cook or? And crawfish got the weird color, i've never seen that color on seafood.🦞 The service guy was great ,the food is the only prob here.

The Hot N Juicy sauce is good and strong in flavor. The crawfishs and shrimps doesn't taste fresh, but the rest (fresh clams, crab legs, fried catfish, and garlic noodles) were good. The place doesn't provide lemon slices and salt & pepper like other seafood boil places. 4lb of food and a basket of fried goods fed 3 people.

A family member who lives in the area recommend this place. ATMOSPHERE: Indoor seating is pretty big as the restaurant goes far back. We sat outside under covered protection without the nuisance of insects. MENU: Crab, lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams, crawfish, oysters, calamari, catfish, po' boys, chicken wings. FOOD: The Drool $75 buys you 1 pound of crawfish, 1 pound of shrimp, 12 andouille sausage slices, 2 small corn on the cobs, 2 small whole potatoes, and 1/2 pound of snow crab bagged and done in their mix of garlic butter and juicy Cajun sauces, with a side basket of calamari.
