Hands down the best hot chicken in Arlington. The spice level is legit and that Sichuan peppercorn twist makes it stand out from any other chicken joint. It’s been my go-to for a quick, spicy fix for years. Truly a neighborhood gem that I’ll miss dearly after the Rosslyn one was closed down.

This spicy chicken sandwich here is super tender and juicy. I ordered the spicy level 2, and it was just a tingle of spiciness, everyone should be able to handle it. Waffle fries is very crispy and freshly made. Parking can be a bit difficult here, you might have to drive around to find street parking.

I’ve been here plenty of times and I’ve always loved their food. Normally I get their original chicken sandwich. Today, I tried the deluxe that has lettuce, tomato, cheese, and turkey bacon. I also got the Shy Guy spice level rather than the one above it. I think the deluxe is not the best form for their sandwich. I think the original with the slaw and the comeback sauce is way better, and it lets you focus more on the flavor of the chicken itself. I also think the flavoring of the Shy Guy spice level could be higher. I think a lot of their flavor just naturally comes from their spicier levels due to the spiciness being an integral part of their whole idea (Sichuan x Nashville).
