Horry County Memorial Library - Surfside Beach

Nicely laid out town library with a pleasant and helpful staff. Very relaxing and peaceful place to browse the shelves and find a gem. Check out the monthly calendar to find activities almost daily to have some fun and/or to learn a new hobby. Children's section is adorable and spacious.

Surfside Beach Library is an oasis for book lovers, and people who enjoy many different programs. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, lots of computers to work on if needed, numerous programs going on weekly, and a convenient location. We will always use this library when we are in town, usually every week. Living in the area full time, Surfside Beach library is a great place for me to escape while my wife walks the beach. As it is located next to Fuller Park, there is easy beach access, and fun if they have the Farmers Market going or an art show. Check them out! Thank you

Spectacular public library. The book selection is exquisite. The free to use computers are clean, safe, and easily accessible to anyone. The activities and free books provided are awesome. I don't think I have been to a better library, honestly.
