Hope Library

After a lifetime of driving by this library, I finally made it inside with my children for Pokemon Club. The library as a whole is warm and welcoming with very friendly and helpful staff. Miss Rain’s Pokemon Club is a joy for people of all abilities and skill. My son has learned so much about cards, battling, and trading that he has grown from a casual collector to a competitor. Thank you Hope Library and thank you Miss Rain!

We're so grateful to Miss Rain for putting together Pokémon Club! My son and his friend can't wait to go to Trainer Tuesday each week where they learn to Pokémon battle, or just go to look at cards and trade. The game is so fun and it involves reading, writing, math, sorting and strategizing, so he's learning too. We love the social component as well. It is an opportunity for Pokémon players of all ages, from beginner to experienced to learn from and teach others, in a spirit of friendship and a shared love of the cards.

We love this library! We drive here from Providence because it truly is worth it. If you’re looking for a library that feels like home for your children, this is it! Each time we walk in, my children are greeted with joy and by name. The staff are all happy to talk to and interact with the kids. Which you wouldn’t think would be rare, but in today’s climate, it absolutely is. The children’s room is amazing. Their selection of books and toys are top notch. The children’s programs that they run are really great and family oriented which I appreciate. The homeschool club and Pokemon club are things that my children look forward to each week. Miss Rain is so loved by all of my kids! She is so knowledgeable and extremely patient with kids of all ages. The library director is so kind and open

This is our favorite library. My son looks forward to going to Pokemon club with Ms. Rain every week. He learned a lot of reading and math skills from playing pokemon there. Everyone there is so kind. He has a blast every time we visit.

The Hope Library staff were so warm and welcoming to my children and I. We were greeted with smiles and the librarians engaged with my children genuinely. Their homeschool club was the highlight of my son’s day and my two younger daughters were kept busy with the large selection of toys and books in the children section. We will be coming back!
