Hop-N-Shop Deli

Today I tried out Hop-N-Shop Deli for the first time. I ordered the Lasagna, Spinach Madeline, Green Beans. It is apparently a Wednesday dish. The Lasagna was among the best Lasagna I have ever experienced, and I am a Lasagna fanatic! The sides were also great, without heavy spice, yet perfectly seasoned. The homemade bread that came with this meal is absolutely wonderful. I am actually going to plan my Plaquemine trips to work around these meals!

Good place for breakfast. The cheese grits are ouy of this world good!

The food was good. I don't like the little 6 inch stirafom container they pile your food on. I had grits 2 eggs sausage patty . When you tried to cut your patty or the eggs your grits spilled over the table. Try to get a larger plate.it was to messy for me. The food was good though.

Definitely thee BEST Biscuit and gravy I've had in well over 10 years. I stop here frequently for breakfast. It's definitely a stop you have to make. Make sure to add butter to your biscuit. Dont forget to add a pork chop and have a hashbrown. You can thank me later for this. Fast and friendly service, get there early, and enjoy it with a hot coffee. It's a small place, but it's well worth the drive.

My travel partner and I stay in Baton Rouge for work and drive all the way over here for breakfast weekly. The food is like grandma cooked you a Sunday breakfast, every morning!
