Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

This was my first time at this location and I absolutely was NOT disappointed. The atmosphere and location were quiet and welcoming. The servers were nice, friendly, and patient. We had a couple of spills and even the cleaner was patient, understanding, and helpful. The food.....oh my goodness, the food was GREAT. I had not one, but two platters and barely had enough food left over to take home. I definitely plan on returning to eat here again.

Great atmosphere, however, the food little overpriced, and the portion sizes are very small. The catfish didn’t have any fish inside. It was all breading. The crab boils you only get two small potatoes lol Shrimp was overcooked. However, they were deveined, which is great. The service was great, nice people fast to go order. I highly suggest working on the portion sizes.

I love this location! Not only does the food come out fresh, hit and delicious but the customer service is always top tier! Can we also discuss the bartender? I didn't even sit at the bar, my drink was amazing. I have gone there for happy hour and she was warm, kind, and doing great things with our drinks!! Don't know her name, but she is medium brown and about 5'4 sweet as she wanna be...I will be back!

This review is not intended to single out or disparage any individual. However, it was disappointing to walk into an establishment meant to serve food and observe employees presenting themselves in a manner that does not align with basic standards of professionalism. I understand you operate  as a casual restaurant, but that does not excuse a lack of appropriate workplace appearance. What I observed raises concerns not only about brand standards, but also about how employees are representing themselves while at their place of business. This is on management not the employee- hence why I removed personal identity. Maintaining a clean, professional presence is essential in any food service environment, and this experience fell short of that expectation.

My wife and I celebrated a client’s birthday and we had a great time. The food was really great. We were satisfied with everything we ordered. The drinks were just right, oh.. and the appetizers were a hit too. The service was solid—friendly, quick, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, we were really satisfied with the experience and would definitely be back.
