We visited Hook & Reel on Valentine’s Day and had such a wonderful experience thanks to Alexis B! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us from start to finish. Even with the holiday rush, she stayed patient, professional, and kept a positive energy the entire time. Our food came out great, she checked on us at the right moments, and truly made the night feel special for me and my mom. Alexis B is the kind of server who turns a good meal into a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her again!
This was our first time dining here and the food, atmosphere, and staff were awesome. Lexi did a great job taking care of our table and checked on us regularly. The food came out quickly and was so good! We each got something different (6 of us) and everyone was very happy!
Took my kid here for a valentine's day brunch date. On that busy day we were seated very fast which was great. Our server could have been better with patience but that didn't hinder our experience nor expectations. The Food was absolutely delicious and done well. I'm definitely visiting again.
This place has a lot of potential. I wondered why it didn’t have many customers as other restaurants on Gov Richie Hwy did on a football Sunday. The food is flavorless. I had the fish basket. The fry on the fish wasn’t bad at all, it just didn’t taste like anything. I used hot sauce, ketchup, and tartar sauce to help with the flavor. My husband had a boil bag (Cajun) and said the same…not much flavor. Service was okay. This place just has sooo much potential. I love the aesthetic but the energy here is lacking.
Everyone was very friendly, and I was greeted upon entry. It wasn't crowded at 5:30, so I had plenty of options for seating. Happy Hour ends at 7pm, so I tried their voodoo lemonade, which was ok, and their hush puppies. The hush puppies were a little too sweet. I also ordered their fried flounder with their creamy clam chowder soup. The soup hit the spot! I was disappointed by the thinly sliced fried trout was disappointing because there was more batter than fish, which seems to be a popular way to serve fish at some places. It is a complete waste of money, if you want fried fish. The atmpsphere was nice: lots of tables and several flat screen TVs at the bar.
