Customer Reviews
Man, Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Bar really hit the spot! My cousin and I went in hungry and left beyond satisfied. We got The Reel Catch — 2 snow crabs and 2 pounds of shrimp (head off) tossed in that Seasoned Garlic Butter/Fire Spice mix. The flavor was crazy good — buttery, garlicky, and just the right amount of spice. We also grabbed a dozen raw oysters for $28 and I’ve got to say — easily the best oysters in El Paso. Super fresh, ice cold, and had that perfect briny flavor. Big shoutout to Cindy, our server — she was awesome! Friendly, quick, and made sure we had everything exactly how we wanted it. Couldn’t ask for better service. Overall, amazing food, great vibes, and solid prices. Definitely coming back soon! 🦀🦐🔥
Food was great, reasonably priced and big portions. The Hook & Reel seasoning and garlic butter seasoning on the boils were great. Catfish tasted fresh and the clam chowder was really good too. Restaurant was clean and service was great. We’ll definitely be back.
Service was okay, the restaurant was so loud it was hard to have a conversation with our party. Food was okay. Crab boils were definitely something I wouldn't get. The shrimp was overcooked and the sausage they used wasn't good. The catfish and shrimp po boy was good. Their clam chowder was good but super liquidity, it should have definitely been thicker. Their margaritas were delicious! The restrooms were extremely dirty.
This was our first time. I ordered the shrimp basket and clam chowder. The shrimp was absolutely delicious. Not to mention big. As for the clam chowder that's a different story. It was extremely soupy and the potatoes had an unusual taste. I would not order it again. Peter our waiter was awesome. He was friendly and very attentive. Constantly checking up on us. There was a gentleman that seemed to be shadowing Peter. Maybe the manager. Anyway he was just as friendly. Very welcoming. I truly appreciate that kind of customer service.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were good, but our server Jennie truly made the experience outstanding. She was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her excellent customer service is the main reason we would return again. Thank you, Jennie, for making our visit so enjoyable!
