Hong Kong Kitchen

The staff was not only friendly, they seemed to actually care about you as a person, not just as a customer. We were greeted as soon as we entered the building, and he even asked questions about where we are from (I guess the southern accent gave us away!) and what we had planned to do while we are visiting. The food was great, the portions above what we expected, and the price was more reasonable than any where we have been thus far in the area. It was honestly the best meal we have had all week! I highly recommend eating here.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Was not disappointed! We ordered at the counter and in about 20’ the food was ready. We tried a few other Chinese restaurants in the Burlington area but this one is really “hands down” 😋 Their white rice is really “jasmine”! Food is well prepared, generous portions and decent prices. We’ll certainly be back!

Pros: workers are super sweet, service was fast, portions are great for the price. We were happy to support a small business. Cons: we ordered the chow mein and in our opinion, it wasn’t very good. There were no noodles in it which is normally the case at other restos. The ‘noodles’ that it comes with seems more like chips and not really part of the dish. So it’s essentially a big portion of vegetables which was disappointing. We also tried the general tso which was pretty good.

Really good food and portions. My only complaint is the upcharge for substitutes. Switching out pork to vegetables for the rice and egg roll ended up costing $4 extra. The area was clean and there was decent parking outside.

Hong Kong kitchen is a small restaurant, it is good for take out but there are a couple small tables if you like to eat there. The food was some of the best. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping by.
