Customer Reviews
Honey Joe’s is a charming mom-and-pop diner that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had the two eggs with ham, toast, and potatoes, and it was excellent. The community there is warm and welcoming, and Andrew, the owner, is exceptionally polite.
I have driving by this litter café for a while know. Last minute I called a friend and took her out to dinner. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food was really good my friend had a nice big plate of spaghetti and I chicken salad sandwich. I ordered two apple pies to go. The pies are home made, crust was nice and flacky. If you are ever in the area stop by for some great food and deserts. We will be returning
Beloved local country diner. It really is a cozy corner atmosphere. I believe food is seasoned to the taste of their regular customers which is fine, although for me was under seasoned. Ordered Bison Burger which was overcooked. Sweet Potato fries were good though! Wings were decent, but less meaty than I am used to. Coleslaw and potato seasoning average. Coffee was okay. Corn chowder underwhelming. :/ Overall if you like diners and are not partial to salt or seasoning, you will like Kathy's Corner. 2.3/5
Most everything was delicious, pie is wonderful! The baked steak, not so much.
Not a friendly face or welcoming vibe to be found. We were passing through and decided to stop and try Honey Joe's. Was not greeted when we walked in, waitress didn't smile once or introduce herself, had to ask for refills. Food was fine, bland, but we had very basic orders. If you're from out of town or under 65, this is not the place for you.
