Homies Tacos (Halal)

I’ve ordered from Homies Tacos in the past and they stay consistent every time. This time I ordered through DoorDash and everything still arrived hot and packaged perfectly. The birria tacos were juicy and full of flavor, and the consommé was rich and perfect for dipping. The street corn was creamy with just the right kick, and the cucumber lemonade was super refreshing! Whether I order in person or delivery, the quality never disappoints. Definitely one of my go-to spots in East Stroudsburg!

I flew in from Seattle a few days ago and had a craving for good tacos. My parents recommended this spot and it did not disappoint. The ambience was amazing. The branding was on point. It was clean, smelled delicious, and the food was fantastic. I’m not one to glaze but this spot uses real ingredients and great customer service. The tortillas were hand made with authentic technique. I ran into the owner and we got to talking. He told me the story of the space. We ended up sharing lunch and he comped my meal. I’m going back in a few days to bring my wife. I was too excited to eat the tacos that I forgot to take pictures of the food. One more reason to return. I ordered the homies meal. The food was very good. The guacamole tasted fresh & tamarind juice was on point. Got the homies signature combo was unsure about getting the shrimp taco but it ended up being my favorite one! So many good flavors. Nice atmosphere & nice staff will definitely be back

The tacos here are phenomenal! It was my wife and I first time here, and it won’t be our last. It’s so difficult to find good Mexican food here in the Poconos, but this place hit all the check marks, and it’s 100% Halal!! We highly recommend!!

First of all, it’s super clean here, the owner was super generous, engaging, and treated everyone with respect and now we get to the good part… The food. We ordered Birria Tacos and fish tacos. The Birria was hot, delicious, crispy on the outside and so good! But the fish tacos were completely amazing! As you bit through the soft tortilla shell, you got slightly crisp coding just the perfect amount. I squeezed extra limes on mine, but the cabin and tomatoes were bursting with flavor. I would definitely come back. I think I would get two fish tacos, believe it or not next time and I am a huge Birria fan. They also carry local ice cream by llama ice cream Company and the restaurant is super clean and cozy. What a cute place to come if you’re visiting the Poconos.
