Hometown Pizzeria Groton

Haven't been here in a long time, used to be the pizzeria I'd go to with my family. Was driving through town and had to stop in for dinner! Was told 35 minutes for my meal, the chicken parm pasta and fried dough, I got there roughly 5 minutes from when it should been ready then got told another 15 minutes because they ran out of pasta. But honestly don't bother me because that just means my food will come out fresh! One pasta dish could easily be split for two, and I didn't expect a whole loaf of garlic bread but I love garlic bread and had extra sauce so that worked out! The bread also comes fresh from Ithaca Bakery if anyone wondering. Only $17 and everything was fresh, tasted excellent, and was accurate. I highly recommend stopping inside here, they do dine in or take out.

We order pizza and wings from Hometown exclusively and love the fast service and tasty food. We prefer crispy wings and have found a number of places can be quite rude about it, but Hometown nails it every time even including it as an option on their online menu. The delivery drivers are great and always smiling.

Ordered delivery via phone after attempting on DoorDash….. door dash would have been over $30 more. They were very friendly, and super fast, the food was hot and delicious!!! Even brought me plates as requested. Very happy w their service !

What an interesting place. I get it, it's a take out pizza joint. But if you did want to eat there, the dining area is in a bowling alley. Talk about interesting ambiance! The food though ... Amazing! The calzones are on point. Toppings plentiful. What more could you want?

Just go to MAIN STREET PIZZERIA! They are always hot and ready at 11 when they open, unlike others… I find it odd the amount of times I’ve walked in around 1115-1130 for a slice of pizza and told the “manager isn’t here so we don’t have pizza” I’m sorry but why as a manager are you not allowing your workers to make the pizza and have it ready for people who work in the community and take lunch at a lunch time. I’ve decided to stop wasting the little time I do get for lunch, and now get a slice from the gas station. I would suggest opening later if you simply cannot get a slice of cheese pizza ready. Again - OPEN WHEN THE FOOD IS READY, not when you decide to show up. Poor management, I’ve never known a pizza place to open without having a pie ready to serve. Mainstreet pizza era for the w
