Homeside Restaurant - Cloverdale Road

Meat and 3 sides I had Salmon patty, cr. corn, fried okra , b’eyed peas, cornbread; husband had country fried steak mashed potatoes w/ gravy, cabbage, slaw (really really good he said) , cornbread and sweet tea for both. Food was delicious portions generous esp cornbread, service courteous and speedy. Will definitely be here again!!

We love Homeside and are regular customers. They are some of the friendliest people and have the best breakfast around. I would have given 5 stars but the past 2 times we ordered here the food was not as good at all. I'm hoping it is because maybe they got a new cook or something.

YUM!! Will definitely go back to visit and try other items on the menu. Food was delicious! Vicki was a delight as our server. I had Fried Pork Chops, Fried Okra, Black-Eyed peas, Potato Wedges& cornbread, and was offered Banana pudding for dessert. Update and new picture 11/6/22 Best photo I could show you.. I had Country Fried Steak, fried Okra, Black-Eyed peas, Potato Wedges and Cornbread. I didn't take before picture but after picture of plate cleaned with help of cornbread, (sopped up everything nicely) and the complimentary banana pudding. YUM!! again!!

My husband and I ate breakfast here. His pancakes were great, his bacon on the other was burnt to a crisp. The hashbrowns i got were also burnt. We will most likely not be returning.

Love everything here super good home cooking! If you are overwhelmed with the choices because everything sounds so good you can copy my favorite order.. chicken and dressing with greens, creamed corn, fried okra, and Mexican cornbread.
