Homer's Cafe

I think I was expecting more of a mom and pop feel when I saw the name of the restaurant. The food was good. It was a solid value. I wasn't blown away. The service was solid but again I didn't feel like I was being welcomed as family or a friend. No complaints. I just have pretty high standards. Definitely a good value and definitely fast service and easy to find parking and I was grateful to find a seat on a Sunday morning.

Amazing little Cafe. Locally run with great staff. The food came out so quickly and it's SO affordable!!! Portion sizes are amazing. Simple no fuss meal. Definitely coming back.

Just wanted to share some love for Homer’s Cafe in Homer Glen. This place is like a second home with some seriously good eats. Their chicken dumpling soup? To die for. It’s like a hug in a bowl. The people working here are awesome too. Always greeting you with a smile and making sure you’re taken care of. And let’s talk about the prices – you definitely get your money’s worth with the portions they serve up. So, if you’re ever in the area and looking for a chill spot to grab a bite, hit up Homer’s Cafe. Great vibes and great food. Trust me, you’ll leave with a full belly and a big smile.

There's is nothing like a lack of transparency when the rude incompetent server does not tell you about extra added charges for the most minute item which I have never been charged before. The server's smartass remark, "well from now on you will be charged." They want to charge for anything & everything they can even if you are substituting equal items vegetable for vegetable. I should've have stiffed her on her tip due to her poor service! You've just lost our business!!
