Homemade Taqueria Meeker Ave

I ordered the chicken burrito and the pork burrito with the chips and guac. It was fantastic, best burrito I’ve had in NYC so far! The burrito is super tasty and authentic with not a lot of rice (as it should be). The chips were fresh and crisp, I believe they make it in house, that’s how good I thought they were. Super reasonably priced as well! Super recommended to have on site or delivered! 10/10

Generous portions that you won't get anywhere. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. It's a full blown meal when I go for the combos. Meat options between steak, chorizo, chicken and pork in any style is difficult since I want everything on the menu. Lol. The price is soon good for the value and I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, not overwhelming and the decor hits Mexico vibes. Bathrooms is always kept nice and clean. The service is pleasant, food comes out fast and they bring different hot sauces to my preference and they make me feel welcome. That's why I like to dine in. Homemade Taqueria has won't me over and it is my main Go-To spot. Highly recommend it!

Ordered delivery, did not get my Pineapple Fresca although I did get charged. The carnitas nachos were full of bits of bones and cartilage. I called the restaurant someone answered but did not respond after hello. Completely disappointing please refund. Update 11.08.25 - I emailed this place as requested on 10.26.25 on this comment. It has been two weeks and absolutely no response.

Homemade Taqueria never disappoints, but today the service was on another level thanks to Mya. She was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. From helping us choose the best tacos to making sure every order was perfect, she went above and beyond. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavor — and Mya’s kindness made the whole experience even better. If you go, definitely ask for her. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do yourself a favor - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. There’s better Mexican food in the neighborhood. I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt obligated to leave one for the terrible experience I had with the girl I spoke with one the phone to check in on my order. I waited over 2 hours for a chicken quesadilla, and when asking for updates, I had to deal with a very rude individual. The food was subpar, and I really hate to be a Karen towards my fellow Latinos but I had to say something.
