Home Plate Grill

I was in the greater Santa Barbara area for 6 days and found this place tucked in a neighborhood just off the 101 in Goleta. We enjoyed several breakfasts here and never had a bad dish. They're open for lunch and dinner too with a mix of traditional american diner dishes as well as some mexi-cali dishes. They'll also deliver your food to the bar at the end of the strip mall. They have some tables out front on the patio and a nice sized dining room inside. Glad we found it, as it saved us a bunch on money over the resort food prices where we were staying.

Was in the Goleta area for a family getaway and we got takeout for breakfast and dinner from Home Plate Grill. In both cases our order was ready on time and the staff was friendly. For breakfast we had pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were the star of the show as it tasted like that added a dash of cinnamon to them. For dinner one night we got their pizza. I was surprised because it was a really good NY style thin crust pizza. When we are back in the area again, we will definitely order from Home Plate Grill again.

What a great find after a baseball game at UCSB. We ordered a couple of the pizzas which were both good (BBQ Chicken, Tomato Basil). We also had a Tri Tip sandwich with jalapeños & another person in our group had the bacon cheeseburger. The service was good & it had a local diner type vibe.

I loved the large menu- lot of great options and felt very homey vibes. Our server Davin was great. I got the omelette and it was very good & filling- definitely a large portion and we were hungry so it was perfect

Day trip to Goleta for Disc Golf and hiking at Gaviota, landed us here for food afterward. Unfortunately, missed breakfast but got pizza and salad. The food was very good, but not great. We heard breakfast is what people come here for, so why not breakfast all day? Anyway, still highly recommended. We’ll be back another time for breakfast.
