Home Plate Diner

Nice clean diner. Our food was good, except my fries were cold. I should have asked for some warm ones, but I we were in a hurry. The place is clean and tidy and the wait staff are super nice.

Such an amazing restaurant. The catfish was really good, the best coleslaw I’ve ever eaten, hush puppies homemade. I am so glad we came here.

The food was good and great portions. They have daily specials along with regular menu. The chicken fried steak was big and delicious.

Great service, we could use a little bit louder music in the dining area, its so quiet! But this food was absolutely amazing and all we had was a cheeseburger and some to die for strawberry cake!!!! Definitely worth it!

I live near this place but this was only my second time eating here. It was great the first time and even better this second time. I took family who were visiting from Iowa and they raved about it. My 23 year old son is a cheeseburger expert. Without anyone even asking, he announced to the waitress that his double cheese burger was the best he has ever had. High praise! I asked why and he said the beef was excellent quality, the bun was fresh and the cheese was melted just right. It was so good he took a picture to send to his pals back in Iowa. So there you go! Wonderful staff. I need to go more often!!
