Holliston Public Library

Holliston Public Library is my childhood library. The librarians are just as nice as I remember. It's a very historic building and for a small town it has hot spots

I adore this small town, comfortable, welcoming library. It is clearly intended to serve all members of the community, including lifelong readers and learners, not children only (though there are, of course, many areas and programs devoted to children, young adults and their parents). It is architecturally beautiful, thoughtfully arranged, and modern in technology. Moreover, the staff is knowledgeable, pleasant, and willing to help, teach, listen, and "go the extra mile."

The second floor (the one you get to from the front entrance) has TONS of travel books and a little side room which has some atlases. Of course, for literature, it has a lot as well. The first floor (side entrance) is a children’s section. They have a really nice third floor for young adults/teenagers, and a cozy little study room that’s around the corner from the rest of the floor, which is really nice when you need some peace and quiet. I still will only give it four stars because of the small size of the library compared to libraries of nearby towns such as Ashland.

Nice place really, but ever since the kids under 11 got access here it's been sooooo loud! needs fixing.

Lovely librarians.. as a part time resident, I feel so welcome and love the selection of best sellers, large print , seating areas, and collections..
