Hollar’s Backstreet Grill

This a small little diner but the food is very good. They source their meats locally from Mays Meats, which makes me like them even more. The bacon double cheese was a full 1 pound and flavorful. The patties are hand made and cooked fresh. The onion rings were delicious. They have Pepsi and cheerwine on tap. You order at the register and it gets brought to you. This is a nice family owned joint and hidden in the back streets of taylorsville.

Hollar's has the best and biggest burger in Alexander County. Made fresh to order, not frozen, obviously handmade, seasoned well, and on a fluffy steamed bun, these are as good as it gets.

Great burgers! You can’t beat Eddie’s Hollar Backstreet Grill for the best of burgers. Fries, tots, oh rings all good too, but the burgers keep bringing me back. It’s a small gem here in Alexander and people come from all over to get some great American food. Good job Eddie.

Hollars is a great place to get a quick bite. They have a good variety of menu items. My husband had a 1/2 lb Burger with Fries and I had the Fish Sandwich with Fries. Both were verygood. Their slaw is sweet homestyle. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Love this place, we eat here regularly. The burgers are awesome, just don't be in a hurry because everything is made fresh and that takes time. One of the best small restaurants in Alexander county.
