Holiday Inn Express Eunice by IHG

The hotel was nice enough for a stay for a local family wedding 10 min away. The pool and gym looked well maintained as well. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. The rooms had a funny smell, like they were humid and too warm when not in use. The AC was loud and didn't handle the humidity at all.

am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the unprofessional behavior I experienced from the current hotel manager at your [Hotel Location] property. As a loyal guest and IHG member, I have stayed at this location since it was built and have never encountered any issues—until recently. The new manager, who I understand transferred from out of state, has demonstrated behavior that is neither customer-service oriented nor professional. During a recent stay, she attempted to explain a change in hotel policy in front of her staff in a very rude and condescending manner. Despite allowing me to stay the weekend, I brought to her attention issues such as discoloration in the bathtub and rust on the door hinges. Would give 3 stars if it weren't for the two roaches & a brown recluse in my room. The internet was inconsistent and breakfast was limited in the beginning but progressively got better throughout the week. I travel 50% so i stay in many hotels & IHG is always my first choice. Appliances worked well, A/C kept cool, Bed was comfortable.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. First the manager was ruled and the staff are not trained very well and charged me more than they were supposed to. They told me one price but charged me something different. They stated that it was a miscommunication but the staff told me something different. Then there are roaches in the room, which made me feel very uncomfortable and I had to clean up myself. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This place is very dirty and someone needs to come and clean before giving customers rooms.
