I would give them 10 stars if I could! Rehearsal dinner was the best! Hit the Pit did Steak and Chicken - I have had several folks from the wedding party ask me for his info! The steaks were the absolute best ever! Will definitely use them again! Thank you Jeff!

Friendly people with good, wholesome food at great prices. You get a whole lot of value for the money with no cut corners, just good cooking. They also have a truck set up at the Discount Shoes parking lot off Brevard Rd.

As always Hit The Pit BBQ does not disappoint! I have used Jeff and his staff at many events over the years and might I say each one was a delight! The food, presentation and staff have always been top notch. Hit The Pit BBQ was our caterer of choice for our High School 50th class reunion. Our attendees could not say enough about how delicious the food was. We were so pleased once again. Thank you Jeff and staff for your attention to detail and delicious food. Cant wait to work with you again.

I am middle of the road on this place. I am alway in search of the best BBQ. This is not the place. The truck was at Discount Shoes in Candler, NC. BBQ pork was good, but not sure why everyone chops their BBQ up. Most BBQ places/trucks are big on their own homemade BBQ sauces. They use small prepackaged Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce. Potato salad was okay, but a little on the sweet side. Not sure what to say about the Mac & cheese. It looked like Mac and cheese, but the taste is indescribable. I am grateful for the $1 can of soda. Thanks for not price gouging.

We hired Hit the Pit as our caterer for our wedding and the service, food, and portions were all fantastic. We had a Whole Hog with sides and man was it delicious! Thank you Jeff and staff for an amazing experience and for delivering beyond our expectations.
