Hinodeya San Jose

I loved their Ramen. We tried the house and the spicy miso butter corn ramen and I can’t wait to go back and try the others. Service was gentle and efficient. The place is in a great place to eat before a show or downtown event. Parking after 6 is easy right on the street or the paid parking structure nearby.

Good ramen place. We tried the house ramen and a few appetizers shrimp tempura, fried oyster, gyoza. They were all delicious. I thought they cooked their ramen well, the broth was nice and balanced , the noodle was on a thick size. The chasiu and sold egg were good.

I've been to the Campbell location before, and didn't realize they had a location in San Jose! Came here for lunch with a friend. There is plenty of metered street parking around and it's right next to a parking garage. It's a cozy and spacious space. Not to cramped that you can hear everybody's conversations. There are bar seating available. I chose the QR code ordering option. They have the physical menu and ordering with a staff available. Staff was courteous and polite. I ordered the clam ramen with regular spice. It's definitely not a usual order, but I've never seen this option available anywhere else so I had to try. They have a disclaimer in the menu that there may be some small shell remnants and some sand, and they were right. I've had clams plenty of times before so that was

We went close to closing time, the creamy vegan ramen took some time to arrive, but it was delicious and worth the wait. Even after closing time, the staff patiently allowed us to finish our meal and were very polite throughout. Excellent service overall.

Had the vegan creamy ramen and it was delicious! Only complaint was that the vegetables and toppings were cold, as if they had just come out of the fridge. The thickness of the noodles was somewhere in between traditional ramen and udon. Their vegan broth rivals Marufuku’s, I think, but I prefer how Marufuku does their vegan ramen overall because the ingredients, both temperature- and texture-wise, meld together better. I’ll try the other two vegan/vegetarian ramen options next time I come here.
