Sat down here for lunch on a really rainy day. The service was fast and everyone was very polite. The fried chicken is really tasty, but that's not exactly what you want your highlight to be at a ramen spot. I liked most things, but I wasn't really wowed by anything. Still, it's a good spot to grab a bite, if you're around!
Decent ramen and there are lunch and dinner sets which are quite good value. Not too crowded even for a holiday weekend. Ramen is pretty good and there’s a few choices of soup base. Their fried items are however a little oily. Staff are attentive and quite helpful. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and other restaurants are busy.
We had a really good experience at Hindoeya. The food was excellent — the spicy ramen was flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the calamari was crispy and well-seasoned. Everything came out fresh and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive at the start, and even though it slowed down a little toward the end, the place was packed, so it was understandable. The staff still did their best to check in when they could, which we appreciated. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed taking our time over the meal. It felt like a lively spot where people were clearly enjoying themselves. We left feeling full and satisfied, and we’d definitely come back again to try more of the menu.
I had to come into the city for an early morning appointment tomorrow and was looking for a good dinner spot the night before. Right across from my hotel was a ramen place that looked busy, so we put our name in and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did because it is now easily in my top five ramen spots ever. I ordered the Sukiyaki Ramen, which was outstanding, a solid 9.5, and my daughter had the Spicy Miso Corn, which somehow might have been even better. Nick was our server and he was absolutely delightful. This has officially become my new go to ramen spot whenever I am in the city.
Food was super good. The broth was tasty and the noodles were flavorful. Great atmosphere and super good service. Candy was really nice and even explained the meaning of the drum. Very friendly, definitely coming back again.
