The food came so fast and was so delicious. The perfect lunch place. The chicken karaage as a starter was perfectly cooked. And the spicy miso soup was so flavourful. Absolutely loved every sip. The pork belly was slightly crunchy but so tasty.
This chain is quite good. We had dinner at the downtown location and also at the one near Union Square. The atmosphere is intimate and casual, making it a comfortable place for dinner. The food is very good — not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely interesting enough to make me want to come back. I ordered ramen (I don’t remember the exact variety), and it was actually my first time trying it. I really enjoyed the experience and would happily order it again.
We recently visited this Japanese restaurant and really enjoyed our experience overall. The food and drinks were delicious, and we loved the presentation — everything was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared. One small disappointment was that our drink spilled before we had a chance to enjoy it. It was technically our fault, but given the strong customer service culture in many U.S. restaurants, we were a bit surprised that a refill wasn’t offered. That said, the food was truly flavorful and satisfying, and we had a great time. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back for the delicious dishes.
Such an amazing experience dining here! I was solo and sat at the bar. Had the house ramen…seriously some of the best ramen I’ve ever had, and definitely the best Chashu pork I’ve ever had in a ramen. They have little crispy’s you can add to your ramen on the table, DO IT! It elevates the dish so much. Also tried the Matcha Beer. Love matcha so had to give it a try! They whisked matcha in a ceremonial bowl and then added it to my Asahi beer. Paloma was the absolute sweetest server and was the cherry on top to an amazing lunch. She was so sweet and attentive, and made me feel like family! I can’t wait to come back here.
I visited Hidoneya Ramen Bar downtown today and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, Paloma greeted us with such warm and genuine hospitality. She made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, but what made the visit even more special was Paloma’s outstanding service. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Her attentiveness, kindness, and positive energy really stood out. It’s always nice to enjoy great food, but excellent service like this makes the experience unforgettable. Thank you, Paloma, for your wonderful hospitality—we truly appreciated it! 😊
