Himchuli - Highlands Indian & Nepali Cuisine

We visited during happy hour which was a nice surprise with discounts on some dishes. My husband and I shared: - Onion Pakora - Samosa Chat - Mango Lassi - Garlic Naan - Paratha - Sweet Potato Masala - Rogan Josh with Paneer I always love Onion Pakora and Samosa Chaat and theirs didn't disappoint. I absolutely loved the sweet potato masala. It was creamy and so delicious. Since I prefer creamier curries, I preferred it over the Rogan Josh, but both were good. Indian is one of my favorite cuisines, so I'd gladly come back to try more of the menu!

Normally I love Himchuli but have only been to the RiNo location. I ordered DoorDash not realizing it defaulted to the Highland location and unfortunately there is a HUGE difference in food quality. The Saag Paneer was bitter, almost no spice (asked for medium), much of the saag tasted old, and for some reason it was orange. The korma had almost no discernible flavor and was also orange. Neither dish is supposed to be orange! And neither was orange the last 3 times we’ve eaten at the RiNo location! The saptarangi korma at RiNo was so good I talked about it for a week. I can’t even finish the small portion of whatever this imposter korma was supposed to be.

Himchuli is the best Indian food in town. They also have a wonderful Happy Hour! Dipika is a wonderful and kind waitress! Literally can’t say enough good things about this place. If you like spicy, they do it right!

i went into Himchuli yesterday for the first time and it blew me away. i’ve been in Colorado for 9 years now and this is hands down the best indian/nepalese food i’ve had here! this place is very cozy and charming. Rahul took exceptional care of my friend and i. very knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond for us. i’m so thankful i live close, i will be in frequently. thank you Himchuli and Rahul!

I eat Himchuli every payday! I usually go to the Rino location but we were closer to this location so thought I would give it a try. I have only ever had the Rogan Josh so that's what I ordered. It was not what I expected. It tasted more like pasta sauce. Watery and chunky not creamy and thick like I'm used to. Extremely disappointed. I will say the Spinach Pakora was fresh and on point and the rice portions were a bit larger.
