Hilltop Pizza & Subs

Fantastic Italian sub! All fresh and a great value, it was huge. I could have shared but was traveling alone. I’ve never seen a sub made this way, all toppings wrapped in the meat. Looks a little odd but kept it all together and nothing fell out. I’ll have to try that at home. There are tables but this is definitely more of a takeout place. Friendly service.

Food is great for 12$ for a 12in and 10for a 9 inch and a small salad that is the size of a similar restaurant large and only 9$ on average 3$ cheaper on all items good size and fresh ingredients and not filled with toppings but a good proportion of meat to toppings and pizza def cheapest in Edgewood for size and not skimmped on toppings my suggestion grilled chicken and bacon actually every topping is good

Fantastic for the price. Nothing fancy. Just good food, large portions and small prices. Staff was courteous and busy with delivery and take out so it must be good! Plenty of tables for dine in too. $10.99 large one topping and a huge portion of spaghetti and meatballs, salad and garlic bread $12.99.

Very good gyro, this is a place I try to stop at when in the area. The gyro platter is reasonably priced, the service if nothing special, they are not bad or super attentive, more of “what can I get you, here you go”. I definitely recommend them for their gyro, plenty of meat, made fresh, usually plenty of sauce for my liking. Their half and half, with free refills dining in is definitely a plus!!! My last visit I had a somewhat disappointing experience, I ordered a pepperoni slice, it came out, only cheese, they took it back put some pepperoni on it and back into the oven it went. Needless to say, it wasn’t very appetizing after multiple heatings. This will not prevent me from returning to this place, I think this was a one off.

Back in the day on the Southside, we would go to Hilltop after the clubs. That was the spot back then (my younger years lol). Just moved around the way, googling...found another Hilltop. Ordered hot italian cut, fried mushroom, fish fillet sub with fries and gravy. We were satisfied. Tasty...it was good! Mushrooms wasn't soggy and the gravy had flavor nor was it watered down...I am picky with that. Subs were really good as well. A few days later we ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni just to try it out, it was ok. But for old time sake with the fam when they come over, we will order again.
