Good is a 10/10! I went for lunch and it was easy finding street parking. Staff was attentive and personable. Was recommended a dish I wasn’t even considering but I’m glad I got it cuz the curry goat was amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. You can tell it’s authentic the meat was falling off the bone. Very satisfied with everything and I will be returning.

Honestly, i’m new up here and this place was awesome. I popped in late at night middle on my birthday somewhere around midnight and ordered a jerk chicken pasta that was absolutely amazing and the portion size was large as well. I had leftovers for the next day. I’m definitely gonna go back just for the fact that food was amazing!

I am beyond horrified with the food I received from this place. Today I ordered from Hillside using Uber Eats and there was a ROACH cooked in my barbecue jerk chicken. I am in complete shock and can’t believe that this has happened to me and my family. I will be contacting the Mecklenburg County Environmental Health Division regarding this disgusting place.

I ordered the curry chicken lunch special. It came with a side of beans and rice and one side. The side that I chose was the mac and cheese. I called the order in and about seven minutes later I went inside to pay for the order. My total was around $13 and some change. The young man that took the order came out with my food and I paid for the meal and departed the restaurant. The food wasn't as hot in terms of its temperature, although the time that it took to place and to pick up the order was less than ten minutes. The food wasn't as hot as I expected. It was like warm. The curry chicken portions were generous and well seasoned, the rice and beans were a little to dry and a little to bland. The Mac and cheese was horrible. It tasted old and looked just as old. Hello today i went to Hillside for lunch me and my daughter around 1p.m , it wasn’t really busy , the workers were really friendly. But to the main event the seafood omg i had the eschovich fish if thats how you spell it , it was soooooooooo goooddd , i had to order one to go … it does take a while to prepare because its made fresh , but it’s worth the wait, honestly kudos the chefs … I will be back and if your looking for a good ja spot you just found it
