Highway 30 Drive-in

Exactly what you would picture as a roadside drive-in. We had cheeseburgers, fries and a vanilla milkshake and all of it was delicious. The waitress (took our order and delivered the food) was sweet and accommodating.

We stopped while on the road to Sun Valley. Our burgers (Jalapeño and a Grace's) were exceptional- at least a 1/2 lb of burger. The chocolate shake was thick. The service was excellent too. Outdoor seating under a canopy was pleasant.

Before today, if I was in Boise Iooking for a good burger, fries and shake, I was probably going to Bad Boy Burgers. However, now I might just wait until I get back home to Mountain Home. I just ate at a great little place that I've heard about for many years, and it was excellent. So now, if I want a burger here in town, I'm definitely going to eat again at Highway 30 Drive-in. If you like really good homestyle food, with that small time, small town, back when kind of vibe, this place is for you. Check out my pics for the menu and try it for yourself.

My husband and I stopped by and grabbed the hungry man and bacon cheeseburger! It was outstanding. Their fries are also the best I have ever had. Fresh food and the burgers are so big they leave you full all day!

Super good! We enjoyed the street tacos (carne asada was the best meat), the super burrito with chicken, and the bacon cheeseburger with fries and tots. And the burrito and burgers all came with a side and drink—great prices! Loved how we could choose to stay in our cars or sit outside on their tables. Such a cute place, and a perfect stop on our road trip! Would definitely go again.
