Highland Springs Farm/Barn With Inn

I stayed at their sister property, the Sarah Miller House, in Wellsburg for two weeks and absolutely adored my stay. It was very comfortable, cute, and the hosts were so accommodating. If you're thinking of booking here, do it!

Chapman and Harry could not have been nicer, and we had an amazing stay. We were passing through Wellsburg on a big road trip, and booked a stay at Barn With Inn on a whim. Wow. We stayed in Hazel's cottage which was clean and cozy. In the morning we were able to enjoy feeding time with all of the animals and had a perfect breakfast in the farmhouse. We can't stop talking about what a great experience it was (and much more memorable than just staying in a motel). Will definitely be returning and recommending to other friends driving through WV.

I am not a big fan of B&B because I find it creepy staying in someone else house that I do not know. However, this place is excellent. We rented both of the room in the barn and it was great. The rooms were very comfortable. The former horse stable has a huge walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, ample seating space in the room but a very nice porch to enjoy the evening breeze and the sounds of the country and a great place to have coffee in the morning (coffeemaker in room). My daughter and granddaughter stayed in the upper room that used to be the hayloft. It has a large area for seating and space for meeting friends. Love, love, love Barn with Inn. This is the second time we have stayed with Chatman and Harry and we cannot recommend their little piece of paradise highly enough. The ultimate hosts who make you truly welcome. Fine food and wine, warm, very comfortable accommodation in a picture postcard setting. If you don't like animals however, this may not suit, as there are numerous dogs, cats, and farm animals. For us, it was perfect! About a 45 minute drive from Pittsburgh, it is well and truly worth it.

Innkeepers Harry Sanford and Chatman Neely provide a peaceful place for rescued animals on the farm, a terrific bed and breakfast and a wonderful picnic for the classmates. Delicious Scottish eggs are their signature delight and the food was fantastic with Charman's wonderful suger-cream berry pie. A live duo played familiar songs while we ate under tent in the yard, toured the farm and visited the animals. We had a great time sharing our birthdays. After wards a few of us went to a Bed and Breakfast at the Sarah Miller house also owned by Harry and Chatman which had recently opened in downtown Wellsburg.
