Highland Branch of the Lake County Public Library

I got here often and I have never had any problems. All the people that work here are nice and I have never had a problem with any of them. They are always helpful. They were very helpful when I couldn't figure out which item didn't go to the self checkout, and they were also helpful in me getting the emails.

Yesterday I went to the library to use their computer and to attach a document to an email. I wasn’t sure how to use the system on how to attach the document. The person at the desk came out and she was very rude to me like I was bothering her or something, she started trying to read my document which was not her business. Then she started typing in my document and all I want her to do instead of me getting the opportunity to tell her what I wanted she started typing in my email and I didn’t appreciate that I knew how to Write what I wanted. I just want to know how to attach or save a document to my email she founded me and said oh I know how to do my job. Just let me do it. That was very rude and I didn’t ask her to do nothing but at my attachment , Customer Service goes you never know wh

I usually make a visit to this library frequently, primarily due to the proximity of my child's sessions which is a few blocks away. So, I'm aware that the same staff sees me here every time I come in. When I go to the library, I keep myself focused, busy and don't bother anyone there. Idk I feel some type of way though. It seems like some of the staff there has issues with almost every little thing, such as what happened on Monday. I was on my phone with my headphones on, watching videos. Suddenly, I felt myself dozing off slightly. So, I decided to stop my video to rest my eyes a bit. Next thing you know, I feel a tap from one of the library staff members telling me that I couldn't sleep in the library. In my mind, I am questioning what the issue is now. All of the staff I've ever interacted with here have been both helpful and kind. The children's programming is wonderful, there are so many resources available, and the space is always clean. Love our library!

The librarians were very helpful. My kids love their Anime selection.
