Customer Reviews
We ate outside with friends as the Sun set listening to music and looking out towards Nantasket Beach. Pretty nice. The food selections were easy and uncomplicated. We were there to sample the BBQ, so our choices accomplished a good variety. The solo performer provided nice DJ music and he played guitar and sang Jimmy Buffet style. Very summer.
Went here yesterday with my wife, sister and Dad. We were seated right away, found the restaurant a little loud. Our waiter took a drink order and we had to wait for 15 minutes before we received 3 drinks. It took a while to get our food ordered, but once it arrived it was well work it. Portions were good size, Fish and chips was huge, as was my wife's salad. The Ruben was very good and my Grill Cheese with ribs was excellent. I ordered another drink when the food arrived and unfortunately the drinks didn't arrive until the food was finished. We felt bad for our waiter as he had no control over the bartender. We will be back, the food overcame any issues we had with the time it took to get service. The waiter did the best he could in his situation.
After a marginal experience during my first visit, I decided to give this restaurant a second chance before leaving a review. Unfortunately, my follow-up visit confirmed that my initial impression was not a one-off. Both visits took place on quiet Saturday evenings between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m., yet the service was among the most inattentive I’ve encountered in many years. On each occasion, my dining partners and I had our orders taken, but that seemed to be the extent of our servers’ involvement. There were no check-ins about our meals, no inquiries about drinks, and no follow-up of any kind. Both times we had to flag someone down just to get basic service. The food was also disappointing. Dishes leaned heavily on seasoning to the point of being unpleasant. In particular, the southwest bow
Food was exceptionally good! Brisket sandwich had amazing flavor and was perfectly cooked. The blackened chicken salad was loaded with flavor as well. Highly recommend this local establishment!!
Great, casual seaside atmosphere. Had the sesame chicken and loved it. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The clam chowder was tasty. Chef Tom knows what he's doing. Will definitely be back this spring/summer!
