High Plains Library District - Nantes Library

I come to this library regularly to print important documents, but not after today. I’ve always paid for my copies and often even donated extra, maybe not a huge amount, but always more than what was asked, just to help out with things like paper and supplies. I’ve always been polite and friendly with the staff, never disrespectful or demanding. Yet despite that, the atmosphere here has completely changed. The staff has become noticeably less welcoming, and their attitude makes the place feel cold and uncomfortable. That completely goes against what a library is supposed to be, a friendly, community-centered space. It’s not even on a daily basis that I come here. Great library for a small town like Gilcrest, ideal location and the interior is awesome. There's a children's corner, computers, and an activity area. The building is constructed to be very energy efficient as well so that helps our little town have a smaller carbon footprint. There is a notary available too if anyone needs documents notarized.

The staff has become unwelcoming and very unfriendly. :< very sad experience

The building was so clean and organized. The staff were super helpful when I was trying to find a specific book. Love the fireplace!!
