Hickory River Smokehouse

I got the chili cheese fries and peach cobbler with ice cream. The fries were tasty, the restaurant was clean, and the service was fast and great. I will return. The main down side was that the peach cobbler wasn't great unfortunately!

Very nice place to eat! Clean, spacious seats and friendly staff. Food was very good, except the coleslaw, which was tasteless. The chili and brisket were great with mild sauce in a side. Price is fair and worths the food.

The staff always does a good job here, even during a lunch rush! Can't go wrong with any of the meats here, especially the brisket. Scalloped potatoes are a great Thursday! choice on Thursdays!

Went to the new Hickory River in West Champaign tonight for the first time. Honestly, I didn't even realize that they had built one out there. It was excellent food as always, and the atmosphere was also very well executed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely returning, and if you're out and about, it's more than worth the visit.

Definitely ask them to double check your order when using the drive through. The manager had told us we shouldn’t have to check our order after pick up, but when you don’t you get burned. It’s not an option to drive back 16 miles to get the bbq sauce they forgot again or the coleslaw this time. This place is so inconsistent of putting the customer first. We don’t want a freebie next time we come to the restaurant we just want what we paid for.
