Hibachi House of Clinton

My wife and I made a last-minute call to try Hibachi House of Clinton, and it immediately felt like one of those moments in an anime where the main character stumbles into a place they should’ve discovered five episodes earlier. I’d heard good things, but it hadn’t risen to the top of my list, turns out, that was the wrong ranking system. The first impression sets the scene well. The restaurant is clean, open, and bright, with a modern aesthetic that feels intentional rather than busy. There’s a moon-themed mural on the wall that initially feels a little mysterious, but paired with the restaurant’s “Asian fusion” identity, it works, less traditional, more contemporary, like a genre blend that knows what it’s doing. If you're looking for a quiet meal or food that tastes good but isn't anything spectacular this is a good place to go. The ramen and sushi are good. Average. Their Hitachi tastes more like a Wok. The waitress tried to remember our order and got 90% of it right. Service was a bit slow. The food isn't bad for the price. They have alcohol on the menu but cannot serve it yet because they are struggling to get an alcohol license.

This hidden Japanese gem near my home completely blew me away. The moment you walk in, you can feel the care and authenticity in every detail. The food is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of real Japanese flavor. The sushi is top quality, the broths are rich and comforting, and every dish tastes like it was made with intention.

Would dare say the best sushi I’ve ever had! The rolls are huge for the price! The noodles were also very delicious! Definitely will be back!

Pros- * New remodel is a fun vibe/nice decor. * Now restaurant-style. Can be waited on or still order food to go. * Atmosphere/music- current radio hits.
