Hibachi Express Colonia

This was our first time going and were skeptical at first but it smelled so good. This might have been the BEST food choice we’ve made in a while, a we eat out often. It is absolutely delicious, savory and honestly, you start to feel bad every bite because you dont want the plate to end. We also ordered the crab rangoons and were absolutely PERFECT. The lady at the front counter is the sweetest and we decided to eat in, she took the food to our table. We are now permanently customers. 10/10 recommend

The lady on the phone is so nice! Ordered for the first time and we will be back. Order hibachi chicken n steak added broccoli… and hibachi chicken steak and shrimp added broccoli. Side of lomein noodles. Everything was cooked perfectly. So tasty. Good seasonings. See u guys soon. The price is def the best around for hibachi too. Store is very clean

For price I expected every slot in this container to have food. This is what a $20 order looks like. I would suggest the restaurant to kick in a veggie on the side to go with this platter. Sorry it just doesn’t look right.

I recently visited Hibachi Express in Colonia and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The food was overly salty, especially the teriyaki sauce, which made the meal hard to enjoy. The chicken was tough and dry, and both the rice and chicken lacked good flavor. The only item I found enjoyable was the shrimp. Overall, the quality did not meet my expectations, and I did not feel the meal was worth the price. I hope the restaurant takes feedback into consideration and improves the food quality.

Good food served by good people. Come and you'll be impressed, first of all, by the clean interior. Then, you'll be greeted and served by a super nice member of their team. Wait a few minutes and you'll be eating some of the best teppanyaki takeout and leaving fully satisfied. Seriously, the portions are large and the food is solid. If you live anywhere close or pass by it on your commute. Stop by for a great hibachi spot, whether takeout or dine-in. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.
