Hibachi Daruma

Ordered take out for dinner. Not exactly what I expected from hibachi - the veggies and meat were spot on and there was a wonderful heat level to the food, but the rice didn't quite have the hibachi taste that I am familiar with. Still good, but didn't quite hit the flavor I was wanting. Service was fast and super friendly. I'd setto back, but maybe I'll stay and eat in next time. Also got some grilled pork gyoza - these were great!

Yum yum yum. I rarely come here as I don't like trying to park downtown but my coworker had leftovers from Daruma for lunch which smelled amazing and she said it was worth going downtown so I figured, yes, it was. Their hibachi is delicious. The meat is flavorful and the fried rice is awesome. So glad I picked up take out. Street parking was actually quite easy.

This place impressed me for being more of a fast food hibachi place. The lady at the front counter was helpful in answering my questions and they were super quick at making my food. The food itself was on par with what I expected. Sitting down to watch people go by was a nice change from being the person that walks by. I'd go back anytime I need a quick and authentic hibachi meal.

Delicious! I got the Karaage Don, which I believe is a limited time special, and loved it. Cooked fresh to order too. Still came out quick despite the employee saying it’d take a while as they need to fry the chicken.

I was NOT impressed at all. Went on a Tuesday evening 2 hrs before closing, 4 min walk from my hotel. I should’ve known better to stay and order when I was the only one in the restaurant. Paid almost $22 for this awfully small DINNER portion. Had 2 meat options, one was shrimp but they only give you 2 shrimps which they cut in pieces to appear like it’s more. The food was VERY BLAND and so was the watered down yum yum sauce. I do not recommend and will never visit again when I’m visiting for work.
