Not hating, just being honest — I tried the food and it just wasn’t for me. I wasn’t a fan of the walnut shrimp at all. Panda Express honestly does it better in my opinion. I also didn’t understand the point of putting lettuce under the shrimp when it’s covered in a sauce that tasted overly sweet, almost like condensed milk. The dumplings were decent, though. The shrimp was the biggest letdown for me. I get that everyone has different tastes, so it might be great for others, just not my preference. Overall, the service was good and the location is nice, but the shrimp didn’t do it for me.
This is my favorite spot for beef broccoli and honey walnut shrimp. The honey walnut shrimp tastes like a carnival batter 😋 I’m not sure how they get it to taste sooo delicious! The chili oil dumplings is a must have & they aren’t too spicy. It’s my favorite appetizer! The fried rice is delicious. I could enjoy that as a meal on its own with shrimp. The honeydew and strawberry boba teas are another go to fav!! They are always consistent with food quality and service. You will end up leaving with food to go. They serve big portions. Absolutely love this place!
What an amazing lunch we had here. We had the chili oil dumplings (a must), the beef flat noodles (so yummy), the spicy boiled fish (this was new to us), and for dessert the bubble egg waffle with ice cream. My husband was worried about my ordering the boiled fish. I figured the food is great here so why not try something different. It turns out that I was right to try it because it is hands down delicious!!! The fish is light and yummy with veggies in a super spicy broth that we couldn’t get enough of. The portion was amazing, the flavor incredible and it will have me returning later this week just to have it again. The dessert isn’t very sweet which was nice. I should also say that aside from the food, the service is excellent! This place has a very nice vibe with friendly service
This was my first time here. The food was so good, I'm still thinking about it, and I'm back home in NC. I'll go out of my way next time I'm in Houston to eat here. I order chicken lo-mein and chicken dumpling. Both were amazing, but the dumpling was the star. I ate all of them, and should've ordered some to go.
Great place for some Chinese food. Fairly priced as well. The dumplings are good and the noodles were too. We had the lo Mein and the quantity was enough to share between 2-3 people. The dumplings seemed fresh and come in 8 pieces, again enough to share.
