Customer Reviews
I normally love this place but I’m super disappointed after my last visit. I ordered a bowl with three scoops of three different poke and avocado ($2.5) and only received 2 of the scoops and my avocado was completely spoiled to the point where I had to throw it out. There was no contact phone number and no one responded to my email through the contact us page. Not sure how else to get in touch with the company but won’t be going back.
I ventured the far 15 minute walk from my office to try this place out since it has such high ratings, and honestly wasn’t let down. this place has very fresh and flavorful fish. I usually go to the Benito Poke food truck, but I really like that this establishment is traditional in being able to customize your own bowl. During the lunch rush it was a little overwhelming in the small space and I felt a pressure to move faster since everyone was trying to get lunch, but i needed some time to read all the toppings since it my first time there. The staff was nice to not push me to go faster. I do wish they had a bit more drink selection but overall, the food was delicious and I will be back!
Always the correct choice for lunch in FiDi. Generous scoops and only $1 more per scoop. And it comes with free crab salad. The fish they used is fresh and great, and their ginger is always good.
Hi City Poke nails that true island flavor! The owner is from Hawaii and brings all the aloha with him — super friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about sharing good food. The poke itself? So ono. Fresh, flavorful, and totally legit. You’ll find classic Hawaiian-style fish alongside “mainland” toppings — because, as the owner said, “you gotta give the city what it wants.” But don’t worry, purists — the foundation is all Hawaii. It’s quick, delicious, and feels like a little taste of home
Ordered delivery. Rice is clumpy, doesn’t taste like sushi rice. Fish doesn’t taste fresh.
