Hermanos Locos tacos

Surprisingly great find inside a gas station! I had the regular burrito, and it was a solid portion — they also offer a large size that honestly looked too big to handle, and that’s not something I say often. The burrito was packed with extremely fresh ingredients, and you could taste the quality in every bite. What really stood out was the sauce — flavorful and way beyond what you’d expect from a taco stand, let alone one inside a gas station. Definitely worth the stop if you’re nearby and craving something fresh and satisfying.

Please if you haven't checked this place out DO IT!! Originally stopped for a drink that I've been trying to find, wasn't even hungry but the amazing smell drew me in, ordered two seasoned pork tacos and a loaded tamale, let me tell you they were awesome, hands down best street tacos I've ever had (unfortunately did not get a picture as they did not make the ride home) but the shells were warm and soft the meat was tender and so full of flavor they come with onions and cilantro on them lime on the side, some bomb guacamole and red sauce. The tamale also really good the very nice lady behind the counter recommended getting it as a loaded tamale so I did and I was not disappointed! 10/10 would stop again!

Food was mostly good, the prices were really steep… so steep combined with bad sides the value makes it probably not worth going back. I had the Combo mixed plate with steak. The beans were more like soup and the rice was bland… both tiny portions. The meat was good and large portion and plenty or corn tortillas, but no cheese seemed like a miss. The price was $16.99. I also had 2 tacos @ $3.25 each. I asked for no onion and cilantro but wanted ti add cheese… came with no onion and cilantro and a tiny pinch of cheese. The portion size is super small for $3.25 each. They didn’t have any queso available which was also a miss. The green hot sauce is delicious though! Ate my food there, which was a mess. Driving back down to the cities we came across this place. We saw the gas station and on the top right corner of the building, a big TACOS sign so we had to stop! My husband and I ordered two lengua burrito, I did normal size and he had the Loco burrito which was almost triple the size!! We did no sour cream or cheese because Mama would smack us upside the head!! LOL Thwy were very good, the loco burrito feel apart but it was good. Personally we would’ve liked if the meat pieces were bigger, it looked like ground beef but again taste was good!
