Hermann Hill

The view from our balcony overlooking the river was amazing. The town was very rich in german heritage having a lot to offer. Our room was a luxury. We enjoyed having a steam shower and jet tub in our room as well as having a hot tub on our balcony. The rooms were clean ,check in and out was seamless. We will definitely be back to Hermann hill cottages.

We stayed at the cottages. It was really private and the hot tub and steam showers were really nice. It was great having a kitchen and we enjoyed the river view. We took advantage of having breakfast delivered everyday (which was a ton of food and really good) and also had a couple massage which was great. We really enjoyed the trip and it was a great quiet time which was needed. Hermann is pretty quiet outside of the weekend with few restaurants open Mon/Tues or after 7pm so plan ahead.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was our first time visiting Hermann, Missouri. The cottages were beautiful and well equipped. It was a quiet and romantic atmosphere. A great place to unplug. There were many unexpected amenities to our stay here including a heated towel rack, steam shower, daily kick back, aromatherapy fireplace near the jetted tub. And of course we loved the see-through electric fireplace and private hot tub. We even had our own gas grill. It was close enough to St Louis that you didn’t have to drive too long but far enough away to feel like we “got away”. Staff was very attentive too. Great place to stay!

We stumbled upon this quaint German town a couple of years ago and swore we’d come back for a stay “someday.” This someday has been one of our favorite anniversary celebrations to date. We have enjoyed Herman Hill Boutique Inn as a whole. The service, the in room amenities, the food, the views, the personal touches to make our stay so memorable have all been worth rebooking for next year! My personal favorite touches are the gourmet menu for breakfast delivered straight to our room or dining location of our choice and the welcome sign outside of our door with a sweet Happy Anniversary message. If you want a great town with leisurely walkable shopping, great restaurants, entertainment, wineries, and distilleries- come to Herman! My wife and I stayed for 3 days for our honeymoon. I’ve been to many expensive hotels and resorts, but even in the dead of winter, Hermann Hill Inn has been by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. They truly think of everything. Heated floors in the hot tub room, heated towel racks, the little items you forget to pack, and complimentary water, soft drinks, frozen alcohol drinks, and snacks. The breakfast, which we had served to the room, was very high quality and had meticulous detail. The staff were kind and welcoming. We stayed in the Seyval suite. Definitely splurge for the Stay Your Way upgrade for a small up charge. We truly enjoyed everything about this place and will be back!
