Henry's Seafood

Specials and quality of product offered have never been a disappointment. HOWEVER, if you like friendly customer service, you might consider going someplace else. Not sure if one of the gals (she's been there every time) hates herself, people or her job but she doesn't even pretend to be happy about being there. Everyone has bad days but if you work with the public, at least try to act like you don't hate everyone that walks in the door.

Today was my very first visit here and I must say I was treated very, very rudely by a heavy-set, older, short light colored hair lady. This took place sometime around 2:10pm today. I did not appreciate how she down talked me, and I politely said I was sorry that it was my first time and was not familiar with how things came packaged. I was misled as well by the person I talked to on the phone to inquire about the seafood sale, or I would not have bothered to go here .

Quality seafood at a good price. Would be 5 stars if the female (owner?) hadn't looked down her nose at me when I tried to use my EBT card. (Food stamps) Replied with an attitude, "We don't accept those things here"

Because better seafood suppliers no longer available, I was forced to shop Henry's for their limited products available. They do not offer fresh fish, crab meat, and other seafood items. King crab legs are split and horrible, snow crab is small, broken and less then enjoyable. Just threw away two lobster tales @$40.lb last evening that were not edible. My wife is experienced and knowledgeable in proper prep. Shrimp is nothing special for the price, and forget the limited frozen fish that are available. Stay away from their house prepared seafood items that are worse then your local grocery. I do not mind high prices and will gladly pay them, but when I bring home inferior seafood, that is too much. Admit, that I do not know of a quality supplier at this time, but I will never shop Henry's

I picked up some crab cakes at Fry's (from meat case) from Henry's. I am 80+ and never had a allergic reaction to food. I broke out in hives that lasted about 5 days. I went back to Frys and asked for a list of the ingredients. I was shocked at the list of 60+ ingredients. Take care buying these.
