Henhouse Chicken

This place has some of the best chicken I've had. We have been stopping here every time we pass by here for the past 7 years or more and have never had anything but great food. This is a walk up window to order so everything a to go, but there is some outside seating in the back. It takes a bit to get your order but it's made fresh when you order it. This is a one to three person operation so service can be a bit slow but it's not that slow and understandable do to Manning, however I can't say it enough the fried chicken is worth the stop.

I've heard about this place for YEARS and man every good thing I've ever heard was true. This chicken and the fries were abosutley DELICIOUS🤤!! The pound cake was to die for🥴 so very moist and just the right sweetness🥳 We stopped at 11am so everything was nice and fresh. The seasoning was just right, the chicken was crispy and the fries were nice and thick. If you're ever in Glenville Ga check out the Hen House, you won't be disappointed👍🏾 Edit: So Nice we visited twice. We actually stopped on our way home to purchase a 24 piece so our family could taste the goodness😍

This place is known for their chick as you would figure from their name. My husband and I went here to try something new. I ordered catfish and green beans while my husband ordered the fried porkchop, chicken, macaroni and cheese, and crab rice. After paying for the food we were told that they only had one piece of fish left so I opted for that one piece of fish with some chicken. When we received our food they gave us two mac and cheese and no green beans and the food had no flavor to it and it was all over cooked. Question is would I come back her to eat? The answer is "no." For the price of my plate I could go to Popeye's and get flavorful chicken.

We ordered onion rings with our order. Our order was not right and the onion rings were burnt, chicken has an unusual taste..... we have never had any complaints for the HENHOUSE, maybe new help.....

If you're ever in Glenville, GA make it your business to go to the Hen House. This place is truly one of those home town gems where the food is always cooked to order and seasoned to perfection. I'm usually halfway through with my food before I even think about taking a picture 😬 yes it's that good.
