Hemphill's Dock

This has to be one of the areas hidden gems I have found. Delicious crabs, shrimp, clams, and scallops cooked and ready to eat. You can BYOB and eat at the picnic table or take it to go. Raw uncooked seafood is available too. Everyone was very pleasant and a joy to interact with. If this was not so far from my home it would be a weekly dining location. Get off the beaten path and experience some of what I believe is the best Eastern Maryland seafood.

Delicious crabs and fair prices. We’ve lived in Ocean Pines and stared at this property across the water for years not knowing it was a seafood spot. Super friendly couple who have been there for years and a cool aesthetic. Our family’s new crab spot moving forward! Went by boat - tip if going by boat: it’s shallow, Howard instructed to hug the right side where the boats are parked or you could probably park at the Salt Grass Point dock and walk.

Why fight the beach traffic to pick up fresh live lobsters, oysters, clams, scallops, and BIG shrimp? Instead, a beautiful small lane leads out to the end of the world where the big water starts. It's like ten minutes from Bayside. Hemphill's Dock has sat on this peninsula right on the water for a long time, and this family-owned business knows what they're doing. He told me they set out right from their dock to bring in the area's freshest crabs! I was very impressed by the quality, freshness, and fair prices. Spotlessly clean, and tons of parking. Not only that, but the owner was extremely friendly and likable! What a great guy. This is my new go-to and I am thrilled that I found it.

Great place, nice folks, old school. Nice blue crabs by the dozen and misc sea food. Takes credit cards.

Ok so I am visiting Delaware from Maryland for a vacation, saw the sign for crabs with a phone number. I called when they were open to inquire about their prices and if they are steamed or live. The person answering the phone was very rude and short on the phone, sounding like he doesn't want to even answer a question. Safe to say I did not proceed with ordering from this place of business and would love to avoid even trying their food in the future.
