We came for brunch, great range of menu options. Miguel was our server and he was excellent. He gave us meal suggestions when we weren’t sure, checked on us frequently, and told us about good places to visit in the city. The food is well worth the money, fresh & delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean with beautiful decor and low music playing in the background. We got the crab cake Benedict, steak & eggs, rockfish ceviche (starter,) and strawberry beignets. As well as two delicious martinis, the lychee and the strawberry. Will definitely return.

An amazing experience! We went for brunch here, sat on the outdoor rooftop with our dog and enjoyed the lovely weather, great food and fantastic service! The mussels appetizer was unique, well-cooked and absolutely delicious the Strawberry beignets had a great flavor and were enjoyable, and the Hot Honey Chicken biscuit was in a class its own. But above all, the staff and especially our server Miguel were outstanding. Miguel was friendly, attentive, and helpful in picking out great food. Drinks remained filled and he went above and beyond to ensure our time was very enjoyable! Will definitely return!

Saturday afternoon brunch, Jazz duo nice touch. Beef short rib omelet, strawberry beignet with puree and whipped cream. Lunch special gumbo is excellent and a little bit spicy. Casual atmosphere, rooftop views. 3rd floor stairs from front door, better option from Canopy Hotel 3rd floor, elevator door.

Though the kitchen seemed backed up due to catering a holiday party and our service was fairly slow, Phillip (our waiter) was exceptional and made the entire dining experience! Patient, personable, apologetic and attentive, Phillip made sure that we were taken care of even while waiting over an hour for our food. The food itself was amazing. Elevated takes on southern classics that were appeasing to the eye as well as taste. The favorite of the night was the cola braised octopus with just the perfect amount of Suya spice. Would definitely be hype to come again, but only with Phillip as our server!

Dec 2025: Brunch lacking a bit. HB is in North Bethesda in the Rose-Pike area. It’s located inside a mid-rise. Does not open till 11 a.m. which is later than we like. We got reservations because the Internet recommended it. Actually we were the only ones there for the first 20 minutes. That must’ve been a sign. The panoramic views were pretty cool. The dining areas were nice. But that was where the fun stopped. My plain brewed coffee tasted terrible. My wife’s cappuccino was spilled, lacked foam, tasted bad and loooked like a 12 year old made it (see pic). The basic breakfast tasted ok. The braised rib was over flavored and too sweet. The veggie filling of mushroom, onion and cheese was scant. They forgot to bring out the toast. Staff friendliness was ok. Price was what I expected so not
