My Ruben was $19 plus chip and after tax was $25.30. This place was on the pricey side for a deli but the portion size made up for it. There was one older gentleman working the counter and deli who handled all the customers very well. He had about 12 total orders within 30 minutes (walk ins, pick up, Uber Eats). The sandwich came with a whole pickle too. The Rachel was the most popular sandwich order from all the walk ins. Excited to back and explore their menu!

Helfield's always delivers. My go-to bagel sandwich in the neighborhood. Much much better than a competitor down North Ave. Service is always top notch and their app is easy to use and ensures accuracy. Check it out not just for the breakfast, but the deli sandwiches are delicious and the portions are solid.

Went there today and had a Lox bagel sandwich. It was, hands down, the best lox I’ve ever had in my life.

Helfeld’s is arguably one of the best Jewish Deli’s in Chicago. They have simple menu with a lot of deli classics that they are experts at making. My go to here is the Pastrami & Corned Beef combo. It comes absolutely loaded on rye with some mustard. Again, simple, but perfectly executed. The owners are also great, super friendly and always willing to give you a recommendation if you can’t decide what type of sandwich you want. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re looking for a great sandwich in Chicago!

Extremely friendly staff and a high quality menu. I love coming in for the bagel and lox in the morning and I’ll come back in the afternoon for the reuben. The food is fresh and delicious and before I knew it I became a regular. If you’re in the area don’t miss out!!
