Helen Hall Public Library

I’m a recent transplant to the area :) I’ve been in love with Libraries since childhood…they have SO much to offer!! This was my first trip to Helen Hall and it did not disappoint. Beautiful library. Friendly staff. Delightful Senior Librarian. A friend and I signed up for a drop spindle class. I’ve always wanted to try this art form. The teacher was a hoot :) Her instructions were very detailed. Please note that most library programs/classes are free and open to all. So very happy with my Saturday at the library and look forward to spending more time at the Helen Hall Library in the future!!

Well, well, well where do I begin? I have to say if there was more stars to give I most certainly would upon arriving. I wanted to inquire about some services that they offer, including applying for a library card when I tell you every single person that I encountered working, there were so compassionate and caring and loving, and the energy is just so large and generous. It could make One cry because you realize that this actually does exist and even our nation. They were so accommodating and so helpful. I brought my teenage daughter with me who immediately made a friend and ended up going up to the teenage area. The Helen Hall Library is always a nice place for me to study. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy and my preferred table was available. The environment was quiet and staff was friendly. I love going to this Library. I would like for them to have nursing books available for check out.

I was so confused about signing up for Medicare but Shari Ferguson made it easier to understand. I really appreciated the free class she held at Helen Hall Public Library. She explained how Medicare works. I am so thankful for this class!!!

I’m so happy and thankful to have a place like this to bring my 1.5-year-old son. The children’s area is thoughtfully designed, full of fun toys and books, and feels so welcoming. What makes it even more special is the incredible staff. Every librarian we’ve met has been so kind and patient. They always greet us with a smile and take the time to explain things clearly, even when my little one is being a bit fussy or running around. They make us feel comfortable and supported every time we visit. My son absolutely loves this place—even more than other play spaces. He enjoys playing, exploring, and especially loves saying hi and bye to the staff with the biggest smiles. We always feel happy and cared for here. Thank you for creating such a warm, safe, and joyful space for families!
