Customer Reviews
Had to update my previous review to my experience today! The employee drink specials are always fun. The Jack O Lantern is particularly delicious! The egg bites with potato and Gouda along with the biscuit with egg and bacon were particularly yummy. Staff at this location are always friendly and hard working! Worth a visit or several!
Heine Bros is my favorite coffee shop in the area! Their drinks are top tier, and so is their staff!! I always have positive experiences at the Veterans Parkway store (and all of the other locations as well!) Always my top recommendation for folks visiting and hang out spot when catching up with friends. The Toasted Coconut Cold Brew is great, along with many of their signature drinks. The baristas are friendly and are super helpful when it comes to asking about their menu!
I had a great experience at Heine Brothers Coffee on Veterans Parkway. I ordered two Americanos and a warm lemon poppy seed muffin. The muffin was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a really long time—perfectly warm, moist, and full of flavor. The coffee was really good too. My husband is pretty picky about his coffee and prefers it strong and bold, and he really loved the Americano. I also noticed the Black Lives Matter and “Everyone Is Welcome Here” stickers on the window. As a person of color who isn’t from the area, that meant a lot to me. It made me feel comfortable and welcomed, which I truly appreciated. On top of all that, the staff was friendly, warm, and inviting. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.
My husband and I stopped here over the weekend before our hour drive home. We were met by an extremely sweet barista. I told her it was our first time visiting, and she told us to take all the time we needed, but if we would like some suggestions, she would be glad to help. My husband asked for suggestions, and instead of pulling the whole "I like this, this is what you should get" she asked him what types of coffee he preferred first. I love that she did that. To me, it showed that she really cared about making sure the customer was happy. He chose the holiday "peppermint mocha, and I went with a Sugar cookie latte. Both were very good, and we're happy we stopped in!
Absolutely the worst coffee I've had. I ordered a Mayan mocha, it tasted like cayenne water. My husband's drink was made with oatmeal (not supposed to be) and was bitter and unpalatable. Definitely will not return.
