MY PERSONAL OPINION… I know & recognize that everyone’s tastebuds are different. Saying that, my favorite is the sweet potatoes. The fried fish was not fried hard - to my liking, the cabbage was not seasoned, & the “chitlins” were… They do have a variety of southern foods to choose from. Please note that this is not a Black owned restaurant/eatery - according to the history that was given to me. This is a place that I went to twice & I don’t have to go back. There are people that visit quite often because there is a line, most times, depends on the time of day you go.

Great soul food carryout. Definitely a gem in DC, well known by many all over the city. Doesn't matter if you are going for breakfast or lunch you are definitely in for a treat.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a couple of months now. And the ladies Ms Sue and Ms Angie are sweet hearts. I always get the beef stew. The best in the city. The chicken wings are good too. Fried to perfection. The breakfast is superb!
