Hei Place

Chicken and shrimp was disappointing. Cool temp. Not fresh. Congealed sauce. Perhaps held under a warmer. I told the staff it wasn't warm. She asked if she could put it in the microwave. I said I preferred fresh. She returned two minutes later, saying "fresh." Definitely not. Old, dry chicken deep fried earlier today. The shrimp was good, albeit lukewarm. The pork fried rice did not taste like any PFR I'd ever had. There were strips of gray meat over the top that did not taste like pork, or chicken. ??? The server was fine. The atmosphere: several loudly cackling older women at the bar. I wanted to like it here, but I will definitely not be back.

The service here is really great. The waiters are super friendly and welcoming, and the manager even came by to check on us and asked how everything was and whether we were happy with the food. They were also very patient and helpful when it came to ordering, especially when we had questions. Overall, the service made the whole dining experience very comfortable and enjoyable.

Had a fantastic sushi experience here. The Love boat was plenty for 4 of us, and the drinks were delicious and strong. The hostesses and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. Ill be coming back again!

This is our go-to place for sushi! Friendly waitstaff (we prefer the bar for dining when just one or two of us). Favorites are the Tiger Roll, King Crab California roll, and Salmon & Avocado hand roll. The Dragon Deluxe dinner is a great dinner for two or one hungry person. We generally have a couple drinks, an appetizer of crispy wings, nime chow, or chicken fingers and then a fairly robust plate of sushi (a few sashimi, one or two hand rolls, and a special roll—explains why our dinner is pricy).

Hei Place is such a great find! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and the food comes out fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying the Lobster Mango Sushi Roll it’s absolutely delicious, with the perfect mix of sweet mango and tender lobster. Easily one of the best rolls I’ve had in a while! Overall, Hei Place offers a great dining experience all around. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
